Dubai Fashion Week SS26 Opens Tonight

The spotlight turns to Dubai tonight as Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) launches its Spring/Summer 2026 edition, running from 1 to 6 September. Co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), part of TECOM Group PJSC, and the Arab Fashion Council, the city’s official fashion week takes its place on the global calendar with a bold line-up of runway debuts, cultural activations, and industry dialogue — all reinforcing Dubai’s growing influence as a world fashion capital.

Opening the Week

The programme opens with Malaysian couture house Rizman Ruzaini, followed by Dubai-based Heba Jasmi. The line-up continues with a debut from India’s Krèsha Bajaj, renowned for intricately detailed couture, alongside UAE’s FLTRD, Erick Bendaña (Nicaragua), and Fioletowy (Poland). Evening showcases from Chic & Holland (Netherlands) and Maison Novague (Germany) further highlight the international spirit of the week.

Italian Day in Dubai

On Wednesday, the calendar shifts focus to Italy with La Moda Italiana Vol II in partnership with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA). Designers including Valentina Poltronieri, Le Twins, Cose di Maglia, Gil Santucci, Avant Toi, and Be Nina will take the stage. Regional favourites — Mrs. Keepa, Dima Ayad, and Lama Jouni — return with exclusive presentations, while Weinsanto presents in collaboration with La Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM), and Lili Blanc showcases her latest collection.

A Global Showcase

The SS26 edition continues with names like Benang Jarum, Nada Puspita, Jozeph Diarbakerli, and XD Xenia Design, while That Concept Store, Buttonscarves, and Otté bring bold concepts to the runway. The programme also includes Jasper Conran, Tara Babylon, FADTalents | FAD Institute, and Emergency Room x Timberland — before the week closes with Les Benjamins, a Correspondent Member of DFW.

Threads Talks & Citywide Moments

On 3 September, Threads Talks V4.0 returns, this season in partnership with Meta, the Arab Fashion Council, and d3. The forum brings together global voices to discuss shifting power and influence in fashion, and the opportunities reshaping the industry from Dubai outward.

Beyond the runway, DFW extends into the city with immersive activations: from a Dyson launch at d3 and ITA x Level Shoes collaboration, to the Etoile La Boutique Party, the Michael Cinco x SOUEAST Launch Ceremony, and an intimate closing dinner hosted by Lili Blanc’s Creative Director Sabrina Mouhieddine.

Powered by Partnerships

The season is made possible by strategic partnerships: SOUEAST as automotive partner, Dyson as official hair technology partner, Kiko Milano as official make-up partner, and Waldorf Astoria as hospitality partner. ITA leads as trade partner, Meta as media partner, with Electra, Magnum, OHVU, Fiji Water, Grow Healthy Food, and Etcetera providing further support.
